About Cooking Classes

What is Harape Collabo's Play and Colour Cooking Class?

Why start an online cooking class?

Harape Collabo has been offering delicious food and sweets that combine food and art, as well as a fun atmosphere.

My name is Nojiri, the representative.

When I was working for a company in Tokyo, I started hosting elaborate home parties called "Hungry Clubs" with friends from my days at art school. Each time, we would handcraft everything from creating the space to cooking, flowers, decorations, and music, and we would recruit friends to help out. We would enjoy these parties once a month.

I always end the day with lots of photos of the scenery and record them on my blog. After a year of writing about it, artist friends started asking me to cater for their exhibition receptions. That's when I got married and moved to Fukuoka, and I decided to do artistic catering as a job, to the best of my ability.

That was in 2009. After several years of training and meeting new friends, I started my own business in 2013, and in 2017, I started working in a small apartment as an atelier, producing colorful catering, hors d'oeuvres, and OBENTO .

We have held workshops where children can enjoy artistic food and workshops where they can make sweets that look like minerals and jewels.

The trigger for starting a business in 2013 was my own birth. Since then, I have mostly worked as a housewife raising children and doing catering services. Everyone is an irreplaceable creator to me, and even the office staff are my respected and proud colleagues who think creatively and artistically about numbers and efficiency.

As we helped each other out and catered to various families, we heard many voices: "I want to make mealtimes with my family more enjoyable and stylish, but I'm too busy with work and childcare to do it the way I want to."

Cooking meals for special occasions throughout the year, such as birthdays, Christmas, and Hinamatsuri, is a lot of work. Making lunch boxes every day is also a pain, as it doesn't look any different.

If you can't cook or present food, you'll feel depressed when you see other people on social media who are cooking well and stylishly.

I realized that there are so many people who are struggling with these issues, even though they are probably doing their best in their everyday lives. We, too, share the same wish to be able to easily create a beautiful and delicious table setting while working and raising children, and that is why we decided to create original goods that allow you to play with artistic food.

In addition, our on-site cooking service is for people who have large families and find it difficult to eat out, or who find it difficult to cook by themselves, but still want to enjoy a special meal! We have worked hard to create special meals for such people, but the scope of our service is very limited.

Anyone can easily create a stylish and stylish table at any time! We wanted to share the joy of sharing an artistic dining table with loved ones with as many people as possible, so we decided to start an online cooking class using Instagram. Harape Collabo's customers are not only from Fukuoka and Osaka, but many of them come from other prefectures and countries, and many customers come from far away. With an online service, anyone can participate and enjoy it whenever they want, from anywhere.

There, we will be having dialogue with our customers throughout the year, and rather than just relaying information one-sidedly, we hope to create exciting interactions that may lead to the development of new products.

Up until now, we have been creating new things based on ideas that have come up during discussions with our colleagues. We want to expand that field even further.

While imagining joyful scenes from each season, we will propose the dishes and desserts that Harape Collabo has created over the years that will make you want to take photos and show them off, that are fun to look at and eat, and that will invigorate you, as well as table and space designs that are "stylish and stylish!"

We hope you will enjoy this exciting game with your family, friends and loved ones around the table throughout the year.
